Book Reading Competition 

Reading can be fun and entertaining and also a tool for language learning. One of the best wasys of learning English or any language is by reading literature. To give the opportunity of reading world literature in English in a simplified way, UKBET in partnership with British Council is going to run 'Book Reading Competition' for primary, secondary, higher secondary and university level students through the following activities:

  • Reading books
  • Writing reviews
  • Taking part in the final evaluation test.

Certificate and prizes will be given at the end of the competition on the basis of the performance. This year a total of six schools are participanting in the competition:

  1. BIAM English Medium School, Bishwanath.
  2. Sunny Hill International School & College, Uposhahar, Sylhet.
  3. Cambridge Grammar School, Pir Mohollah, Sylhet.
  4. Shining Jewels School & College, Uposhahar, Sylhet.
  5. Gobindagonj ML High School, Gobindagonj, Chhatak. 
  6. Lalabazar ML High School, Lalabazar, Sylhet.

Interested schools and colleges are requested to contact UKBET to participate in the competition.
