Exploring a learning styles approach to teaching & learning
Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11:46AM Workshop: Two 3-hour long “Exploring a learning styles approach to teaching & learning” workshops were held on 2nd and 3rd January 2011 respectively in Balagonj and Sylhet. The workshops were conducted by two trainers from the UK:

The first workshop was held at Mangal Chandi Nishi Kanta (MCNK) High School at Tajpur. A total of 29 teachers from different schools and madrashas ofrom the Balagonj Upazila attended the workshop and gave hugely enthusiastic feedback. In fact there was such interest in this workshop that additional teachers were squeezed in due to requests from local headteachers.
The second workshop was held at the UKBET resource centre. A total of 25 resource centre users attended the workshop. According to resource centre users more workshops like this would be tremendously helpful in making the resource centre more active.
